Entry Fee

The entry fee is R1500.00 (150.00 €) if paid before 31st October 2011, R1700.00 (170.00 €) after this date.

No of pilots

110 pilots. Until 31st October 2011, 64 places are reserved for South African pilots. 28 places are reserved for international pilots until 25 November.

Entry requirements:

• valid FAI licence
• IPPI 4 or 5
• third party insurance
• medical insurance
• fully operational paraglider, harness with back protection, helmet, reserve parachute and 2m radio
• Serial class gliders, any certified glider.  If you have an Odd size that is not certified, please contact us to clarify.
• registration and entry fee payment
• compulsory SAHPA (South African Hanggliding Paragliding Association) licence.  Foreign pilots can obtain a temporary licence that include 3rd party insurance.

• transportation to the take-off
• retrieve
• paramedics
• map with waypoints
• scoring
• Live Tracking on LiveTrack24 with eXactTrack
• T-shirt or Comp branded gift
• closing ceremony party!

• SERIAL (maximum LTF 2-3 or CEN D)
• SPORT (maximum LTF 2 or CEN C)
• INTERMEDIATE (maximum LTF 1-2 or CEN B)
• NOVICE (maximum LTF 1-2 or CEN B + 1st Year Competition, 2 Years being licensed)
• LADIES
